This week, Suspension finished machining one of the uprights, leaving three to go before Rolling Chassis, which is slated for Feb. 15. Vehicle Integration Lead Benji Sobeloff-Gittes machined a full set of wheel nuts, and sponsor Janler Corporation machined the hubs. The Aerodynamics team was hard at work curing the nosecone, which came out remarkably clean, even though the freezer storing the pre-preg in North Garage was discovered unplugged after Winter Break.

Seniors Youssef Abdelhalim and Marcello Scalise, alongside Accumulator Lead Matt Hosemann and freshman Ren Erdogan, finished welding the frame tubes. The team aims to have all steering components and suspension tabs welded on the car by Feb. 1.

The members in charge of the motor-differential mounts, motor sprocket adapter, and differential sprocket adapter are working to finalize their designs so that they can begin manufacturing their parts in time for Rolling Chassis.

Drivetrain Electronics successfully spun the motor with the team's custom inverter and is now working on the electronic control unit. Meanwhile, Power Distribution is working on the board that distributes power to the car's low voltage systems as well as the wiring harness. The battery management system daughterboards are nearly ready to be sent out for manufacturing.
