The mechanical teams were busy this week to stay on track to hit the team's Rolling Chassis deadline.
On Chassis, the motor sprocket adapter and its sleeve were machined. The eccentric plates for the motor differential mount were also CNCed. Chassis is looking to machine the motor sprocket and the motor differential mounts by Saturday so that they can be on the car for Rolling Chassis.
On Suspension, the last of the uprights were machined, and the team will be testing the fit with the hubs tomorrow after the hubs return from being anodized. Additionally, all steering components were welded this week.
On Aerodynamics, one of the side panels was cured. Despite a few mishaps with the mold, the part came out cleanly.
