Winter Newsletter - 1.13.2025

On Wednesday, we had our first meeting of Winter Quarter, and we are excited to get back to work after Winter Break! We have finished tacking our frame and are manufacturing drivetrain critical parts, like the uprights and wishbone ends.

In addition, we sent our accumulator container out for manufacturing. The aluminum sheet metal parts were designed in Solidworks, and the files were sent to SendCutSend, who will laser cut and bend our parts. Once we receive them, we will secure the box together with rivets and epoxy.

On the electrical side of the team, Vehicle Integration Lead Benji Sobeloff-Gittes fully assembled his custom inverter and is now testing it. Our battery segments are also nearly fully wire bonded by our sponsor Hesse Mechatronics.
