Presto plans to go to Blake Island on Saturday and anchor on the west side. Weather looks good. Anyone else planning to be there?

I would love to join you but my Achilles is not quite healed enough to allow clambering around the boat.  Almost, but not quite.  Have fun!

Unfortunately, we have to make a somewhat curtailed appearance-- we will be sailing over Friday AM to grab a spot on the dock, and leaving before noon on saturday.  Anybody else coming?

Ruf Duck is headed up to Swiftsure this weekend... otherwise would have been there.
Have fun.  Looks like an great weekend for lounging around (sun and not much wind).  Checking the Swiftsure NOR for the legality of pedal drives...

Greetings,

My friend Valerie and I took a Hobie 16 to the Blake Island Rendezvous in 2005 along with several other Hobie Div.4 boats. It was an amazing experience I remember fondly.

I am interested in bringing my Hobie 18 this weekend, but I wouldn't be arriving until Saturday. Where do you trailer sailers park and launch your boats? I am leaning towards Pomeroy Park. Anything I should be aware of?

Cheers!

Revised plan - Presto will anchor at Blake Island on FRIDAY afternoon and stay through Sunday morning. We'll host dinner Friday evening and see what happens on Saturday.
Also - welcome to Scott and Valerie. I'm afraid I can't help on where to launch. Presto isn't a trailer boat:)
Cheers,
Joe

I should point out that I took a bad fall on the dock in Ilwaco and hit my head. I don't have leprosy or the plague, but you couldn't tell from looking at me:)

Sorry to hear that Joe.  Dang, its hard getting old.  I'm toying with the idea of taking my Lightning to Blake and camping.  We'll see how that goes.
