Well, I guess I'm real chatty on the google group this week....
I just found out the mooring balls still aren't in place for my arrival to Fairhaven on Tuesday morning. My original plan was to single hand/motor it up to my mooring ball but I will now most likely need to anchor or catch the visitor dock for a few nights in Bellingham. I've solo anchored in Fairhaven before but it's looking really busy while folks wait for those balls to be installed. I'd rather have a buddy.
Anyone available to help me bring my boat north? It will be in slings and ready to splash at 9am on Tuesday in La Conner. It's a 21nm motor north. Boat won't be ready to sail, unfortunately, so, yeah, a motor (although the predicted weather supports this anyway). This is why I'd just planned to do it solo... I'm sure I can dock it solo at Squalicum Marina if no one is available (look how far I've come!). Anyway, just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone wanted to enjoy the island views between La Conner and Bellingham with me on a morning that promises to be beautiful.
