Greetings Multihullers,
Our next meeting
will be held on Tuesday, February 3.
The doors open at
6:15 PM at our usual meeting place: Puget Sound Yacht Club,
2321 North Northlake Way, in Seattle.
Please bring your
favorite potluck items to share. Presentation begins at 7:00pm.
Our speaker will
be Capt. Robert Smith of FatCat Marine. Bob is a marine polymath,
with experience in marine electrical systems, HVAC, electronics
installation, hydraulics, carpentry, plumbing, vessel delivery and
has a 100 ton near coastal masters certificate. We will focus
on electronics and wiring in this presentation, with a particular
focus on a few tips that can help the do it yourselfer do a better
job, for instance:
- Typical DIY
errors
- What is in the Marine electrician’s basic tool bag;
- Tips for running, securing, terminating and labeling new wiring; and
- Why the ABYC can be your friend.
