Hey y'all,

I parked the boat this winter and ran out of room in the garage. A few items need to go.

1) Yamaha 8 $500 or trade (preferred):
  • This outboard has a remote throttle and was used on Rehab, an F27, and came with the purchase of the boat. I paid a shop $480 to give it a complete tune up, top to bottom, in 2022 and it has since sat in my garage on a stand.
  • I would prefer a TRADE to teach me about my electrical system. I want to add a cable between my two lithium batteries (I know it's easy) and learn about the items on my boat (seatalk, NMEA 200, solar panels, etc.) and where I might want to make updates or adjustments.  It was launched in 2019 and everything in the system is in good condition and well-labeled, I'm just a newbie in the electronics realm and would love a few hours with a nerdy electronics buff.
2) Wing and Bow NetsFree
  • These were not coated with UV protectant when installed in 2019. They were super loose on my F32 and began to fray in two spots on the port wingnet. I don't recommend you use them on your boat unless you paint them and do a little repair. But great material for other uses if anyone wants it.
3) Saturn Catamaran Dinghy: $600
  • https://www.boatstogo.com/inflatable-catamaran-mc330.asp
  • Does NOT fit well on our Fboats and doesn't row well, either. Not sure this will be a good fit for anyone in our group.
  • What it's good for: going REALLY fast with an outboard (gets up on plane well with two adults); very stable so great for grabbing crab pots or fishing; great for snorkeling or swimming off the front end and easy stepping to shore.
  • It "fits" (not well) on my F32AX since it's so wide. I gave it to the girls to rip around the islands this summer and they had a blast but I need a narrower solution.
4) J Boat Junior Sailing Dinghy from the late 90s: Free to kids who want to sail
  • This was generously donated to my girls to learn how to sail and I'd like to pass it along to other kids now. It won't fit an adult easily but is perfect for kids up through middle school.
  • Comes with everything and is in excellent condition (minus one issue, noted below). It even has the original J boat documents from the late 90s
  • One crack under the lip of the bow that can be repaired with minor epoxy work. Doesn't impact sailing but will very slowly allow water intrusion into the hull under choppy conditions.
I live in Leavenworth but will come to the September club meeting if I can bring enough of the above over to make the drive worth it.

Thanks,
Ginnie Jo
