Anybody close to Seattle have any old battens lying around? I'm
looking for 3/4 to 1" wide and I need around 10 feet total to make
some solar panel mounts (but small chunks are OK).

When we visited Ballard sails I noticed a garbage can with pieces of battens in it. They were happy to give me what I wanted from there.
