Honda 8 outboard for sale

I have a 1992 ultralong (25") 8hp 4 stroke Honda outboard with pull start and manual tilt available now in Everett. 2 older gas tanks, one fuel hose with the right connector, and the electrical connector for battery charging, would be included in any sale. It came with our boat in 2021, and I have now replaced it with a Tohatsu 6. The Honda 8 is in good shape for its age but does need some work. Cascade Marine in Everett thinks it needs a new thermostat as it didn't get up to temp when they tested it this week. In 4 years it usually starts on the 1st or 2nd pull and has consistently burned 1/3 gal per hr while pushing our 24 foot trimaran at 6 knots, so I imagine someone somewhere would like to have it for the right price. If I listed it on Craigslist I'd probably start at $1,000 and see how low I needed to go. Please contact me here or by email if you are interested.
