Our trimaran fleet from the Austin Yacht Club is organizing a trimaran training and racing event in Saint Martin March 12-15 right after the Heineken regatta. 

We have a few spots left and are reaching out to multihull fleets and individuals in the country. 

To have an idea of the event, please watch this video.

I met a Diam owner in BC and I’ll try to forward the link. Looks like lots of alphas doing what alphas do!

Most interesting is the snippet at about 2:45 where they right one that has turtled. Anyone have experience with righting a trimaran?

Andy, I know a one or two older members (not me!!!) have flipped their Corsairs.  I think one was after they hit a chunk of wood that tore off the rudder at high speed.  The boat were righted and sailed again AFAIK.

The FCT email list/documents and Corsair owner's manual go into this in detail, but the short version is - fold one ama, attach rope(s) to the opposite side running them underneath the boat, then pull towards the folded side - with a fairly beefy powerboat. Getting the beam unbolted upside-down in our frigid water is an exercise that I hope never to need to do. 

For something smaller like your boat Andy I would imagine the process is similar to a Hobie using ropes-across + body weight.

For these Diam 24 that don't fold AND are bigger, and heavier than a beach cat, I'm not sure. Perhaps ropes-across-underneath plus a power boat?

There is a significant experience righting Corsairs by attaching lines to the forward beams. Attach the lines to motorboat at the stern and pulling with speed   The stern of the tri digs in and the boat rights bow over stern

How to right a DIAM 24

You have to hope the mast is sealed and water tight so that it doesn't go turtle...then,  like a big beach cat - you point the bows into the wind and use the sail to stand it back up.
