This is one of those rare mild and dry winter days with reasonable wind when I think; gee it looks like a great day for a sail.  Just wondering if any Seattle area Fboaters is thinking about going out for a few hours, I'm available.

I am doing it on the J-133 as part of our train up for Van Isle.  If we had more F-27's racing I would keep coming out. But my desire to chase F-31's, F-32 and Dragonfly has died.  Racing is much closer in the bigger boats.

Greetings members, near and far.  I hope you had a good Thanksgiving.  I thought I'd start a discussion about 2015.

If you are aware of events already scheduled (or traditional dates/weeks) for 2015 that we may be interested in attending, i.e. Race to the Straits, Cow Bay, Puget Sound Cruising Club raft ups, etc…  I think it would be great if you let us know via reply to this email.  

Approximate dates or just event name are fine, lets just get everything down on "paper".  

Maybe there's a better way but I'll start a list at the end of this email.  Please add to it via a reply, including significant BC or Cali events.

I thought it would be helpful to think about  BC & California.  So please chime in you folks up north and down south.  I mention California as there are certainly popular races (or maybe BAMA cruises) in the Bay and I have thought about doing Latitude 38"s SoCal Ta Ta the second week of Sept.  Lat 38 also has a Bay Area Delta Doo Dah that currently has non specific dates.

Obviously it would be nice to plan our events to avoid a conflict or better yet, compliment other events, such as a NWMA cruise to the San Juan or Gulf Islands just before Cow Bay.  

I think a discussion at Tuesday's meeting of what we currently know would be beneficial.
