Subject: [NWMA] New boat coming to the Northwest - Sprint 750 #152
Hi my name is Steve Pesce and have just purchased a Sprint 750 from Don Wigston at Windcraft in Florida. It will be delivered within the next 2 months as we are awaiting weather windows and best delivery price.
I have crewed for Steve Keever and Doug Barlow and am now looking forward to skippering in some upcoming races. I will need to get my PHRF rating, but will need to wait to have sails in hand for measuring.....I am pretty sure the Sprint 750 has a PHRF of 33, but will need to see if this is different in the northwest.
I missed this month's meeting last week, but will be sure to attend next month's.
I can't wait to get sailing.

You guys met. Eric was the one who hitched a ride to Vince’s boat before the start of Foulweather Bluff. I still can’t believe anyone didn’t get hurt on that transfer. Good times.

Hi Eric, I am not sure we have met, but I know Doug game me your contact information to discuss the boat selection process as you just went thru it. I have spoken to many people so all blend together. I was constantly toying with a F31 and determined that a F28 was not going to fit my needs. I then did an about face and wanted a boat that I could rig and sail by myself and if others wanted to join all the better. With my background of beach cats I decided a Sprint or Dash would be best day sailor and decided on a Sprint for the large cockpit.
