I've been loosely following the "Dear Mr Sidecar" thread in Multihull Anarchy and found this very nice, short, video of the project.  It was cool to see this old guy (he's ~my age) finishing out a life long passion with sailing by figuring out, designing and tinkering with a fascinating concept.  Who wouldn't love to have the inspiration, land and shop to do something similar? 

 

It's a mystifying boat, particularly the rig, but the thread (and pause button), by bits and pieces, has some clues that can be used to, eventually, get your head around the whole thing.  The movie itself is choppy, seemingly made for ADHD children with tiny attention spans.  None the less, it is very inspiring.  Check it out.
