To nwma members' I have a large Loos gauge for you to use.  I'll probably donate it to the club library eventually.  I bought it from Martyn A. when he moved.  I think it is for larger boats but maybe it will work for others.  It is model PT-3.  Let me know if you want to borrow it.

This is awesome thank you so much Eric! I will definitely need to borrow it sometime this winter as I'm pretty sure I've got my diamond shrouds over, and unevenly tensioned - a bit too much precurve and an S curve to go with it!

I'm going to toss my Loos gauge into the tool library as well. It's
the standard model, 3/16 to 9/32, so works with most Farriers.
In addition, my son and I found an aluminum folding dock cart in a
street free pile, which should also be part of the tool library. It
might be useful to someone cruising or just working in a boatyard.

That is awesome Bill!

With your additions, plus Eric Lindholm's recent Loos gauge, the current tool list is as follows:

Warehouse Tent/Hoist Racks  (4 arches) Jeff Oaklief
Load Cell Jeff Oaklief
Boat Stands (2) Jeff Oaklief
Boat Stands (2) Scott Bushnell
Loos Gauge (1) Eric Lindahl
Loos Gauge (1) Bill Quigley
Aluminum Dock Cart Bill Quigley

For members that are unfamiliar with the Tool Library... the rules are short and sweet:
  • There is no physical tool library
  • If you have borrowed a tool, you are responsible for storing it until the next person needs it.
  • If you are borrowing a tool, you are responsible for picking it up from whomever is currently storing it.
If I have missed any other tools that folks have that are supposed to be in the inventory please let me know.

Your humble Tool Librarian,

Jeff Oaklief

OK... here is a more up to date version... If the Digital Team wants to figure out a way to embed this in the website, great.  Otherwise I will keep the spreadsheet going.

Oh yeah we do! Can you do it as a Google Docs spreadsheet and share that with nwmultihull...@gmail.com and we should be able to get it sorted - though after some more pressing website issues.
