Does anyone know what's up with the Gougeon 32 parked in the back of the old Lavilla Dairy (now the Lake City Tool Library)?

It looks like the one that attempted the R2AK a few years back...

Just because it is long and skinny, doesn't make it a Seventy48 boat Jeff.

But it doesn't make it NOT a Seventy48 boat.

I saw it there several years ago and mentioned it on this forum.  The tenant in the house, where the boat was, told me the owner of the house bought the G32 recently (then,  ~2022) and planed to fix it up and do the R2 AK.  I think he was a builder.  It subsequently disappeared, but I guess, by your report, it has reappeared.  I never tried to contact the owner but I think I'd heard about its existence sometime later by another person or article.  IIRC it was not in pristine condition in ~2022, but serviceable.

OK, I checked my journal and I saw the boat March 22, 2022. The tenant's name was Chesley and he said he'd ask the boat owner to give me a call but he never did.  The boat is actually owned by a friend of the house owner.  I was told that the owner also owns the Lavillia building, so you could check there if you wanted.
