Graham has sailed down the coast and is now in San Francisco Bay. I think they’re sailing to San Diego next.  “Could be leaving SFO as early as next week” he emailed yesterday.  If interested in going along, contact info is below.

? I wonder if he’ll be in San Diego during the Extreme Sailing Series Oct 18-21 with Foiling GC32 catamaran Racing?   https://sandiegoextremesailing.com/about-us/

If interested, please contact Graham and Terry right away, grahamm...@gmail.com or Cell. 604.961-4045

I think they want 2 or more additional crew members, and want to begin sailing before September 15.

Hi Diane,

It's a Farrier 41ex (41ft. w/electric motors and extended to 44ft.)

Rotating wing mast, North main, drifter, genoa, working jib and storm jib. 2 chutes.

Would like to leave Pt. Roberts, Wa. before 15 Sept. Ready to go now; except for provisioning.

Interior almost finished ! (kinda!)

I am experienced - have rookie cat boat builder and 1 experienced blue water sailor as crew atm.

Would prefer min. crew of 4 total..

thanks for this

if the boat gets to S.F. ; we can certainly use crew to help to get to S.D.

Planning to stop & visit Monterey, Santa Barbara, Channel Is. and Laguna Beach (friends) on way down - depending on time constraints.

Should know if we have enough crew to leave PNW by mid Sept.

If we're short - will have to wait until next summer😭

Will keep you posted,

Cheers

Graham

Subject: [Hobiecat-Division4:2628] Big cat tripping

Hi all,

Won't be at Harrison (sorry Paul!); as Terry & I are readying the big cat (Jazz) for the trip down to San Francisco.

Need a couple more crew if anyone is interested.

Distance is about 800 mm; so will probably be some overnight sailing. Could take 5 days 😺 or 2 weeks 🙀

We're not interested in boogie-ing south as fast as poss. - we're cruising! If weather looks unfriendly; we plan to overnight in the many sheltered inlets/ports along the way.

Boat is currently in Point Roberts, Wa. Can pickup at Port Townsend or Port Angeles on the way.

Experienced big boat crew preferred; but we figure Hobie sailors will enjoy sailing on a big cat.

Estimated departure is around 12/13 Sept.

We'll fly crew back from Oakland.

Sorry for short notice; we've had serious delays waiting for the new mast.

Anyone interested? p.m. me

Cheers

Graham & Terry

He might want to contact BAMA (http://www.sfbama.com/). There might be someone local who could crew.

If anyone reading this is a member of San Francisco Bay Area Multihull Association, will you forward this to your email list?  Thank you.

Good idea Bill, thanks! I found that club at wp.sfbama.org and they have many good things at website including a link to our NW Multihull Association.
