Greetings Multihullers,
Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 7th.
In
addition to the traditional potluck fare, camaraderie and connection…
we will get to pepper our local Dakota Lithium representative with
questions about the apparent dark art of using lithium batteries in
multihulls. If you have been lurking on the forums you know that
opinions and misleading or outdated information abound. This will be
your chance to get the straight scoop on batteries with built in battery
management systems. Will my battery catch fire? Can I charge it with
my outboard? Can I start an auxiliary motor with it? Swing by or tune
in for answers to those questions and more…
The doors open at 6:15 PM at our usual meeting place:
Puget Sound Yacht Club, 2321 North Northlake Way, in Seattle.
Please bring your favorite potluck items to share. Presentation begins at 7:00pm after a short NWMA Officer update.
