I got a request from Michael Partington to forward this
information about the upcoming Northwest Guitar Festival.
So....
Come be a part of a great Northwest guitar tradition! This April festival has been a highlight of the calendar since 1991 and a great opportunity to immerse yourself in three days of guitar. Enjoy, learn and be inspired! Full registration includes 3 great concerts, 4 workshops, rehearsals and performance with the Festival Ensemble, and either participation in, or the opportunity to observe, the competitions. Excellent value! Friday and Saturday events will take place at the West Seattle Church of the Nazarene, in the heart of West Seattle, with easy access to great coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Sunday’s events will be at the University of Washington School of Music, in the acoustically ideal Brechemin Auditorium. We’re also fortunate to be able to schedule the festival around the SCGS presentation of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet concert at Benaroya. My first exposure to the festival was here in Seattle in 1995. It was a transformative even for me, and it’s an honor to be hosting it again 30 years later. Hope to see you at Northwest Guitar Festival 2025!
Competition entry deadline is this coming Saturday, March!
