James Reid at June Meeting and Dues!

Good morning-  

First order of business is our Membership Dues. 

NWCGS is fortunate to have Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship as our homebase for meetings. The cost for this venue is significant and we rely on dues from our members.

Suggested dues is $35. annually for which you will receive admission to all of our meetings, where we also have occasional special guests like James Reid who will perform at this June meeting. 

You are welcome to contribute whatever you are able as often as you'd like during the year and we greatly appreciate your support in keeping the NWCGS in the black!

Guitarist/Composer James Reid comes to us from Moscow, Idaho where he was Professor of Classical Guitar at the Lionel Hampton School of Music at University of Idaho dating back to 1980.  James founded the Northwest Guitar Festival and has been active as a performer throughout the Northwest, and Canada. James has also made many Cds over the years.

For this program, James will perform pieces that he has written over the last 27 years, including a set of Variations and a collection of Homages.

Stay tuned for the normal mailing and call for performers who will play the first half of our June meeting.

I tried to donate on the website. Unfortunately the system does not want to take my Canadian phone number or email. My number and email is connected to a bank in the States. I was trying a direct US funds from US bank transfer but I'm blocked with this glitch.
