Dunava (a Balkan choir in Seattle, if you’re not familiar) is traveling to Bulgaria and Serbia this summer, to study with master teachers and visit (and perform at) the folklore festival at Koprivshtitsa. To make this happen, they need to raise some money — so the Seattle Balkan Dancers are hosting a fundraising party!

This evening will feature

- Dancing to recorded music at 7:30 PM

- A performance by Dunava at 9:00 PM

- Music by Seattle’s hot new Balkan brass band, Sina Roza, 9:30 - 10:30 PM

Suggested admission: $10, and we’ll pass the hat for contributions to Dunava. (They accept cash, checks, and credit cards)
