Greetings, subscribers!

(And apologies if some of you already got this email -- I'm widening the net.)

Dina here! I'm trying to get a new Balkan choir (or more of a singing group?) off the ground. Who'd like to join?

Here's what I'm offering: A six-week "term", if you will, where we learn 10-ish songs from throughout the region -- some Bulgarian, some Croatian, some Romanian, some Greek?? At the end of six weeks, we could have an optional party where we showcase our chops to friends and family. Six weeks is short -- but summer is imminent and I anticipate people may be making other plans. If we're having fun, we'll pick it up again in the fall and go for 3 or 4 months at a time.

The dates: Thursday evenings, 7:30 - 9 PM (flexible on either end), starting May 7 and ending June 11

The place: In Mountlake Terrace -- location disclosed upon RSVP

The cost: Depends a bit on how many people we get, but I anticipate no more than $60 per person for the six weeks

If you're interested, please respond to this email by April 23 and tell me one of the following:

1) Yes, I'm in, sign me up!

2) I'm interested, but the dates or location don't work for me -- please contact me again in the fall

Btw: there's no requirement to come every week, of course! This is all just for fun. But since the costs are fixed, I'll charge everyone the same amount, regardless of how much they actually attend.
