This full-length concert, written and directed by Denis Basic, PhD, is a story of Bosnian college girls who migrated to the USA as children with their parents in the 1990's from their war-torn home country. In a search for identity, they dig into their parents’ refugee suitcases and discover old family pictures, keys to their old homes, their first toys, and also traditional dances and Sevdah - the traditional Bosnian love songs often compared with American Blues, Spanish Flamenco, Portuguese Fado, and Greek Rembetika. The concert is one of numerous events taking place in Diaspora communities throughout North America as part of the 3rd annual "North American Days of Sevdah"  sponsored by Sevdah North America.

Tickets available at the door, on line at: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/89440 and ticket outlets:
