The Oregon Symphony has generously offered the Northwest Balkan music and dance community free tickets to their concert this weekend, April 25 and 26, featuring Bulgarian guest conductor Delyana Lazarova, who will lead the orchestra in a performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4.
Oregon Symphony Artist-in-Residence Simone Porter also joins the orchestra to perform Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E Minor.
Rounding out this showcase concert, Maestra Lazarova will conduct Witold Lutosławski’s Little Suite, inspired by folk music from the Polish village of Machowa.
