next cohousing meeting, 20th October, 4-6pm, Star and Shadow

Dear all,

Those of us at the meeting yesterday were keen to recover a regular pattern of meetings up to and beyond the proposed 'Wilf Workshop'. This is yet to be announced (Ruth and Lesley and/or Helen will be meeting Wilf to discuss dates and details), but it's likely to be a 6 hour session one weekend after November 17 (the options will be limited by Wilf's availability but they will be advertised widely and selected by popular poll). The Star and Shadow has been booked for a meeting on Sunday 20th October, 4-6pm. The idea is to hold meetings roughly fortnightly, going forward, taking turns in the role of facilitator/note taker etc. Ralph took notes yesterday and he will circulate these in due course. I agreed to facilitate the next meeting on 20th October.

One idea was that if the 'business' agenda dries up before the Workshop (because we are waiting on this to 'unblock' our purpose and way forward etc) then we could convert meeting dates into 'community glue' social activities. The general concensus (among the small number present) was that it was important to have a clear purpose to meet (business and/or building community) while at the same time keeping up some sense of momentum. I hope that's a fair interpretation? (Lesley, Ruth, Raph, Garry, please correct any inaccuracies!)

Please let me have any agenda items/apologies etc so that I can circulate this to the list a few days before the next meeting.
