Steel Farm Passivhaus Open Day - UPDATE

Hi,

A quick update about the Steel Farm Passivhaus Open Day.

There have been a couple of last minute cancellations.

The good news is that because of the cancellations there are now a couple of spaces left - so you now have the chance to go the Free tour of one of the UK's lowest energy homes. ;-)

Of course it's not just the energy performance that is significant.

Another significant feature of the home is that it has been designed in order to allow aging in place. To accomodate this there are a number of subtle design features that were introduced.

I'll explain more about these on the day - suffice to say planning them in from day one will save a small fortune when compared to trying to adapt the home at a later stage. (For example, can you imagine having to replace a staircase?)
