Dear North Texas FTC Community,
I wanted to share an exciting opportunity that came to my attention through Rayan, a FIRST alum, recent Stanford graduate, and passionate advocate for STEM education.
The Summit STEM Fellowship (SSF) is a virtual summer program designed to bring together top STEM students from around the world. In 2024, 250 students from over 30 countries were selected to participate. Rayan believes that FIRST Tech Challenge students would be a great fit for this fellowship and asked me to share it with our community.
The fellowship is open to rising 9th–12th graders and offers a chance to: (a)explore diverse career pathways in STEM, (b) learn from mentors affiliated with Stanford, Harvard, MIT, and other leading institutions, and (c)join a global alumni network spanning 30+ countries.
The program requires a 10–15 hour weekly commitment and is designed to be flexible, allowing students to participate alongside other summer activities.
Admissions are rolling, so students are encouraged to apply as early as possible. The final due date for admissions requests is May 25th, 2025.

Please consider sharing this with any students who might be interested.
