*Lab Tech Innovation Internship*

A real problem at  compounding pharmacies. Solved by local engineers — you.

*The mission:* build the machine that weighs the powder. Autonomous. Benchtop-sized. From 20 mg to 100 g, within ±0.5%. Every time.

*The disciplines* (sound familiar?):
• *Mechanical* — hopper, doser, motion control
• *Electronics* — scale, sensors, power
• *Controls* — closed-loop firmware
• *Validation* — real powders, real pharmacy floor

*The competition:* 5 milestones, every 2 weeks.
M1 doser → M2 closed-loop → M3 full coverage → M4 multi-doser → M5 *autonomous + Demo Day*.

*What's on the line ($15K):*
💰 Up to *$5,000* per team in stipends ($1K per milestone) x 5 teams
🏆 *$10,000 grand prize* at Demo Day

*Plus — top talent gets noticed.* Standout performers may be offered *part-time or full-time roles with the MedDots engineering team.* (Age and legal terms apply.)
