Hello Texas teams,
I'm pleased to announce the 1st Annual Cowtown Invitational, an offseason invitational event for FIRST Tech Challenge teams in Texas and beyond.
This event will be held May 17-18 at Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas. 48 teams will compete in a two-day, 8-round, single-division event. Standard INTO THE DEEP competition rules will be used for the event, including judging and playoffs. In addition to matches we will have breaks for some unique games; an "Innovation Trail" with companies, universities, and FIRST teams; and much more.
A FIRST alumni banquet will be hosted by Texas Tech University - College of Engineering in Dallas the evening of Friday, May 16th.
We are looking to attract top teams from Texas and beyond to come and compete at this unique event. More information is available on our website at https://www.cowtowninvitational.org/ .
Although we are still working out some of the final details (including cost to attend), teams interested in applying to the event can do so at https://www.cowtowninvitational.org/register .
