2025-26 Orchid Giving Circle Grant

Hello North Texas!

TechnicBots 8565 and FLYSET.org have partnered with the Orchid Giving Circle (a nonprofit dedicated to serving Asian women in the community). We present to you, the Bring Girls to FIRST Initiative! Applications will close on 4/15/2026, so make sure you register soon! These scholarships are geared towards FIRST participants of all ages, so there is something for everyone. 

1. FIRST Robotics Team Grant ($500 Each for FTC, $300 Each for FLL-C): North Texas team that meets requirements detailed on https://flyset.org/first-grants/ and actively recruits and supports Asian female team members.

2. FIRST Robotics Scholarship for High School Graduates ($500 Total): North Texas Class of 2026 high school graduate that meets requirements detailed on https://flyset.org/first-grants/ and has grown from their FIRST experiences while planning to major in STEM in higher education institutions.

3. FIRST Robotics Scholarship ($250 Each for FTC, $125 Each for FLL): Female of Asian heritage individual on North Texas FLL C/FTC team that meets requirements detailed on https://flyset.org/first-grants/ and showcases continuous growth throughout the season.

4. FIRST Robotics Education Scholarship ($100 Each): Individual who wishes to attend STEM related summer camp and has clear interest/plan to pursue FIRST in the coming seasons.
