the movie "WAITING FOR SUPERMAN"

I went to see the movie last night and it was a documentary about the schools in this country.    Please go see it if you get a chance.   It tracked about 6 or 7 kids around the US in grade school and 1 in high school.   Wait until you see the video a kid took in a classroom in Milwaukee ( these teachers were fired but the union got them back in) and the video from the "rubber room" for teachers in NY for teachers being disciplined for things including sexual abuse to the kids, who stay in the room for 7 hrs a day and still collect all their wages and all their benefits for yrs.     (or maybe the teacher that told the kids that she didn't care if the kids learned anything or not because she still gets paid the same)     In WI, its called dancing with the lemons---each district who can't fire the bad teachers, just sends them to another district hoping that the next lemon teacher is better than the one they just got rid of.   The end is what happened to the kids they were tracking.   I thought it was great.   A lot of the teachers in the movie, said they wouldn't put their kids in public school anymore.  The end was sad.   Bev
