The Overseers agree that discouraging driving to the Chapel for our gathering of worship tomorrow is the best thing. We hate to do this the week prior to Retreat when the chapel will be closed as well, but we want to do the best we can by continuing to let DPW workers, etc. do their jobs devoid of our presence on the roads. There is still a lot of work to be done in front of the chapel as well. I will be at the chapel for any who might show up for some hymns and scripture, but all are encouraged not to drive.

In addition, if you still do not have power (and heat) tonight, please email or call me ASAP. We have options for you and you should not stay in your home this evening (temperatures are to drop into the single digits).

Despite us not gathering tomorrow, the Church is being the Church nonetheless tonight! I know of at least three places where we have gathered to keep each other warm. I love it!

In addition, I will send out a short "North Street @ Your Street" tomorrow via North St. News by early morning if you'd like a small worship set/package to go through in your homes together.

In the meantime, stay warm and enjoy this nature-prescribed Sabbath!

Grace & Peace,

Pastor Jeremy
