2008 Summit Lake Assignments

Hey Everyone!

Its about that time to start picking up assignments for this year's
Summit Lake! If you haven't yet been part of the planning, that's ok.
In order to have a successful weekend for all our youth, its important
to have as many on the team sign up for different pieces as possible.
Also please note that on March 29th at noon at Fairfax Circle Baptist
will be a brainstorming session for breakouts with Brian Bowhey. He is
looking for a volunteer and a youth from each church to join him.

Please let me know if you're interested or have questions about any of
the following roles (or let me know if I've missed any):

Speaker: Currently working on Steve Fitzhugh - Tom
Band: Fri/Sat morning: Korean Band from FBC Springfield, Sat Night/Sun
Morning: Bradley Rhodes
Sound and media: Dan Gillespie - Need someone that can run the video
portion
Breakout Sessions: Brian Bowhey:
Shirts: Josh
Prayer Stations: Josh and Stephen
Retreat Booklets: Kristine McPeek

Camp Fellowship / Opening:
Plan and run a 30 minute fellowship time at the beginning of the
retreat on Friday night

Nurse
Security
Frank Halterman is currently having health issues, would like to
have someone else lined up to help regardless

Summit Lake Live
Setup Tryouts for Saturday, and run the Talent Show on Saturday night

Sports Tournaments
Plan and run the Saturday afternoon sports tournaments. Purchase
trophies for each event

Quiet Times: Nikki (Westover) has said she will help someone
Write 2 Quiet Times for booklet related to theme of the retreat

MC: Chris (unless someone else really wants it)

Check-in: Chris (would also like 2-3 others to help with check-in,
registration, and setup)
