@PeterSchnell This is a bug in Native Access for some users. Can you check that both Native Access and the NTKDaemon both have Full DIsk Access like for this other issue: Native Access Error Message: "Installation Failed" (Mac)

I'm not a mac user myself but it could be something with mac's keychain. You have to repair it maybe. The second problem in this website could be yours -us/articles/205937040-How-to-Resolve-Mac-OS-X-Keychain-Problems

I'm also having this same issue on M1 Mac Studio (OS 13.3.1). NTKDaemon and Native Access have full disk access granted. Anyone have any ideas how to turn off the password prompt every time I launch Native Access (v3.4.0)?

I too have the same problem (password prompt to "install dependencies" every time I launch Native Access 3.4.0) despite Native Access and NTKDaemon having full disk access. This is on an M2 Ultra Mac Studio running Ventura 13.4.1 (c). Any fix forthcoming? Thanks!

I think I must not have granted full disk access to one or two instruments, e.g. Kontakt 7 or Reaktor 6, and that this was causing the problem. So make sure to grant access to ALL NI products on the list above. This may not be a bug but just an oversight on the part of some users who don't realise they haven't granted disk access to all required NI products.

I thought I had solved the issue but it's returned this morning. I've given disk access to a few more NI products I rarely use, besides NTK Daemon, Native Access and some others, and issue has gone again. But I'm expecting it to return. Will post back again if issue does miraculously resolve.

When i'm trying to open native access, password doesn't work while i am using the same thant the one i'm using on Native instrument website when I created my account. I tried to change my password and the problem is still there.

My other problem is that it pops up ''please grant permission to to native access to install dependencies''. I tried everything i saw on the forum on terminal.app. I tried to instal the NA 3.1 first, and the 2.5 after, but the same problem appear.

I am seeing the same thing and did use the system pw. So, no issues with dependancies. My issue is that my pw works on NI but not on NA. I cannot get to the bottom of it and would appreciate any guidance.

I have an Excel file that is password protected. When I log in to the account from the computer and try to open the file, I click on it but there is no option or access to type the password to open the file. This only happens on the account from the computer and not on the account from the mobile phone (where I have the option to type in the file password). I click on the blue "Open" button and then click on the link to Excel - and it shows me an error message and does not give access to typing the password of the file. As a result, I currently do not have any access to the file from my computer. How can I solve this ??

Attached is a link to the page I see, immediately after I click the "Open" button of the encrypted Excel file. As mentioned, I have no option to type in my password and open the file I encrypted. I would be very grateful if you could help me!

Can you explain exactly what I need to do to open the encrypted file from the site itself?

I just have a quick question about access to law enforcement. If there is a Court order for the data in the encrypted Bitwarden vault and the owner will not give the master password, what would Bitwarden as a company do? Are they forced by law to get that data by any means necessary? I only say this because if Bitwarden is setup like they say it is they should not be able to get the data due to the zero knowlage encryption.

I am waiting for the day that the USA fifth amendment makes it up to the Supreme Court and the case flows all the way through. So far, we have only had a super small presence there and the parties have settled out of court. Holding a person in jail because then want to use their 5th amendment right to stay silent will almost certainly be upheld and the 3 letters know it, which is why they always stop the cases that end up in the high court.

When you want to help prevent unauthorized use of an Access database, consider encrypting the database by setting a password. If you know the password for an encrypted database, you can also decrypt the database and remove its password. This article explains how to encrypt a database by using a database password, and how to decrypt a database and remove its password.

In earlier versions of Access, you could create user accounts and passwords using a feature named user-level security. This topic does not discuss user-level security, which is not available when you use the .accdb file format.

Use strong passwords that combine uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Weak passwords don't mix these elements. Strong password: Y6dh!et5. Weak password: House27. Passwords should be 8 or more characters in length. A pass phrase that uses 14 or more characters is better.

It is critical that you remember your password. If you forget your password, Microsoft cannot retrieve it. Store the passwords that you write down in a secure place away from the information that they help protect.

On some computers we are able to enter just a password to gain unattended access to a computer in our organization. However, on others, we are required to enter in a username (apparently this is set by the computer) and a password. I have poured through the Control Panel and Web GUI settings looking for the option to remove the need for a username and just have a password (most computers are being used as remote monitoring tools with no human user physically on site) but have been unsuccessful. Any answers?

After going back and forth with their support for a few weeks over email, I finally got a resolution. They let me know that it's a bug in the software. To get the option to enter in an unattended password (User Access Code) without the need for entering in a username specific to the LogMeIn Client on each computer, you have to completely delete LogMeIn for the PC. Then re-download it and you should get the option then. A bit of a round-about solution, but I've tried it on a machine or two since and it's worked for me.

I assume you've used "Section Access". If you've used ONLY "Username Table" (e.g. username/password) - this information is not stored in as a plain text, however if you have NT authentication enabled as well you can find it under tag in qvw xml description.

This is a very good idea, but I use the qlikview 11 SR2 version, which only has the option of ScriptRescue in settings. I have set it to 1, but there is no LayoutRescue option in this version. I have tried it,But i have not bypassed authentication. I still don't see the script. Is there any other solution?

It sounds like you configured 'Hidden Script' password in this application, and if that is what you did, I am afraid there is nothing we can do to recover it, as Qlik has a policy of not doing this given we have no means of knowing for sure who created the script, and we would not want to unlock something someone else did and has the intellectual property for etc.

As a best practice, I would probably recommend doing a Script Export on your scripts and storing those in a secure location that only you have access to as well such that if you forget a password again, you will be able to recreate things at that point in a new qvw file.

I hope you can help me with an access-issue in Knime. I created a workflow to open and read a database by Microsoft Access Connector Node and it worked perfectly. But how to open a password protected access database? I try to use the Credentials Configuration node and found out here in the forum i have to add a jdbc parameter in the MS Access Connector.

The Credentials Configuration node is just an interface to enter credentials that you can then use as a flow variable as dynamic values. But if the node you are capturing the credentials for, in your case the MS Access Connector, does not support credentials, you will not be able to pass the credentials, and the MS Access Connector does not support credentials.

However, this works only for MS Access files that are password protected without encryption, that is mdb files. This does not seem to work for accdb files as accdb files that are password protected are encrypted.
