Election Day - 24th November - We need YOU !

Dear Supporter,
Australians will go to the polls on Election Day, Saturday 24th
November 2007.
This election, it will be Our Rights at Work that we are Voting For!
We are looking for election day volunteers for the North Sydney
Electorate, to send a clear message to the local member and IR
Minister Joe Hockey, that the community does not support the unfair IR
laws and we want a fairer system in place.
This is your chance to help out in one of the most successful
community campaigns ever in Australia. Thousands of volunteers will be
out there for the Your Rights at Work campaign all over the country.
The areas of the North Sydney electorate include: North Sydney,
Neutral Bay, Lane Cove, Crows Nest, Kirribilli, McMahon's Point,
Hunters Hill, Willoughby, Northbridge, Cremorne/Cremorne Point. (See

As a Your Rights at Work supporter, we will equip you with materials,
badges
(and a t-shirt if you don't already have one, and would like one to
wear on the day -
subject to availability)

If you are already campaigning on Election Day with a political party
that supports Your Rights at Work, please let us know where abouts
you'll be.
Thanks very much to our volunteers on Saturday at the North Sydney
markets. It was a great day and many people came and spoke to us about
their experiences under 'WorkChoices'. We were pleased to be able to
support the McArthur transport workers along with the Transport
Workers Union, and were pleased that Mike Bailey, North Sydney Labor
candidate, was able to come down and support the campaign and the
local community markets.
Both Labor and The Greens support the campaign for our rights at work,
so keep a look out for local events from the two North Sydney
Candidates.
