The Oscar Mayer Strategic Assessment Committee has finished our work, and our report (attached) is now going to city committees and the Common Council for approval. Please see the tentative schedule below, and note that the December Affirmative Action Committee meeting was cancelled, so this will likely be on their January agenda.

Attached is the Oscar Mayer Strategic Assessment Report as approved by the Oscar Mayer Strategic Assessment Committee on November 12.  Please note that final formatting will occur after it is adopted by the Common Council.

 

This report will be introduced to the Common Council on Tuesday.  After it is introduced, it will be referred to five City committees for their review and recommendation before returning to the Common Council for adoption.  Here is the current schedule of those meetings:

 

Common Council (introduction)                 December  4

Affirmative Action Commission                  December 11 (tentative)

Economic Development Committee        December 19

Transportation Planning + Policy Board   January  7

Madison Food Policy Council                      January  9

Plan Commission                                             January 14

Common Council (adoption)                      January 22
