Local author Muriel Simms will speak at Lakeview Library on Thursday, Feb. 28,
about her book "Settlin': Stories of Madison's Early African American Families."
The free event begins at 6 p.m. with social time and refreshments provided
by the Friends of Lakeview Library. A brief meeting of the Friends will take
place at 6:30 p.m., followed by the author's remarks. She will also be
available to autograph books. Everyone is welcome!
