Last year a group of us rode in the 100 km Pacific Populaire (planned
for April 4th this year) put on by the Randoneers Bicycle Club. We
had a good ride, but the sign-up was long and slow as many people
waited until the morning of to register because of the weather.
Michael and I decided that rather than go through the same
registration hassles again, we would do our own ride on the same day.
Several other John Henry riders have expressed an interest in joining
us. We are planning to meet at Park Royal in the parking area
directly behind the White Spot at 9 am on Sunday, April 4th. After
the ride, we thought we would go to The Tap House for a beer and a
burger. Everyone is invited. Let me know if you are interested.
