Updated pre-registration form for SCA 50-year

Greetings from Terafan!

   A recent question has prompted an update to the Equestrian pre-registration form for SCA 50-year.  

The updated form, with a field for your kingdom, is attached.   If you have already sent Lady Doe your form, there is no need to send another one, however if you have not sent in your pre-registration information, please use the new form.

The new form (v2) is attached, but since a few mailing lists don't allow attachments, the form is uploaded in the files section of the SCA Equestrian 50-year Yahoo group.

We would like to have pre-registration forms as soon as possible because it will help us plan.    More details on planning will be posted in the next couple of weeks on the 50-year mailing list.   I just want to give everyone a chance to join before I start answering all the questions.

Is there any way to get information without being a yahoo member?  Yahoo insists on asking for my cell phone number, which I refuse to give.

Anna, what information are you talking about? I have a yahoo account, but have never had to provide a phone number.

In trying to sign on as a member on the yahoo page, its requesting I become a yahoo member.  When I tried signing up for a yahoo account, it insists I give my cell number so they can send a "verification code" so I can complete my membership.

So I was wondering, is the pertinent information and updates for horses at SCA 50th going to be on a location other than the yahoo page?

Yahoo has been doing this for “some time”. If you have an existing account, you can “skip it”, but they are apparently adamant on this when you try to create a new account. I am on a lot of Yahoo Groups and totally hate going there to see photos, documents and such because I always have to jump through the hoops to get to see the pretty pictures (ALWAYS asks me to change my password and ALWAYS asks for a phone number). This is just a “feature” of Yahoo that they use to increase security (they say). Funny that my Yahoo email address gets the most spam.
