Hi Lee, I think masks on in-game should be a listed modification.

Thanks, Lee, Daniel, all.  So glad to connect again.

I agree with Daniel that masks in-game is something plausible.  I wear various forms of masks with various forms of exercise and find it to be no problem, especially with the light kn94 masks.

I'm looking forward to my first shot Wednesday.  Hope covid has spared your families and that you all are well and able to get your vaccinations soon.

Is there a walking only option to the game?   LOL..   both out of shape and recovering from ACL surgery…   so, I can come out and help people warm up their throws, but won’t be able to play until may August…

Good luck getting the games going again!!!!

Hi,

We had this discussion at the Cubberly game and in the end, it was up to individual preference.  I know some people said it was difficult to breath while running with a mask and some people weren't as concerned.  Most people at Cubberly have been playing without masks and I've not heard of anyone getting COVID as a result.

We can leave it up to each individual to decide for themselves.  Or if enough people feel strongly about it, we make this a mask-only game.  From the survey so far, it seems most people will be willing to play once they are vaccinated and so the mask question may not be as critical by then.

Given that most people want to wait till they get vaccinated, I think June would be the most likely time to re-start the game.  That should give people enough time to get their first and second shots once the vaccine is available to the general public mid-April.  In the meantime, if people want to play, the Cubberly game is open, though they start later (after 12:30pm).

Hi Lee,

How did the field preference come out in the survey?

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,

Most people (45%) still prefer Moitozo or Live Oak.  I think it's the most central location.  I haven't been to Moitozo recently.  There was some re-construction before the shelter in place.  I think they were adding a playground, but I don't know if the field condition is any better.
