Neighbors – please see the forwarded email below from TPW.  A small group of stakeholders has been working on the design of the NORTHERN STITCHES that were included in the Council Resolution back in August in concert with TPW, TXDoT, CAPMETRO, and Our Future 35.  We are at a point now where we need community feedback and the city has scheduled this meeting to present the current work and solicit input.  I would encourage anyone who is interested in the future of I35 and how these caps might serve to address some of the challenges this new 20 lane highway will have on our community to attend. 

 

I will give a very brief presentation of the current plans at our upcoming NLNA meeting this coming Wednesday 11/5 (during the NCINC update) with a more comprehensive presentation at the NLNPCT meeting the following week on Wednesday 11/12.   I hope to see everyone at these two meetings as well as at the city hosted open house noted below on Saturday 11/22.
