AISD Trustee Office Hours with Dr. Kevin Foster

Hi neighbors, 

I hope everyone is staying safe and dry through this rain! I’m writing to share some information about in-person office hours our AISD District 3 trustee, Dr. Kevin Foster, is hosting next week at nearby schools, including Reilly:

“Next week I’ll be at a few local schools to visit with anyone who wants to come out, chat, ask questions about all things AISD, or take the opportunity meet fellow neighbors.

Here is where I’ll be:
- Reilly Elem: Tues. 7/21 from 9-11:30am
- Wooten Elem: Tues. 7/21 from 1:30-4pm
- Lee Elem: Weds. 7/22 from 9-11:30am

All are welcome.

Please accept my gratitude for how amazing and engaged and gracious our community has been in a year of huge challenges and huge changes.”

There have, of course, been dramatic impacts on our neighborhood as a result of the challenges and changes Dr. Foster refers to. I encourage everyone to go and chat with him individually or in groups as you are able about our neighborhood schools and our values for the future of North Loop! 

Lastly, I did share our drafted neighborhood position letter with him while we await further announcements about the pending / postponed boundary changes.
