Very much appreciate the note, Jason – these awards very much highlight the effort of all of the members of the North Loop Neighborhood Association, now and through the years, and the fantastic work that we, collectively, have been able to accomplish. We are one of the most vibrant NAs in the city for which we should all be very very proud. I know that I certainly am!

Hello all,
Congratulations and thank you to Brian, Mike and all who helped make the North Loop neighborhood vibrant and a great place to live. Steve and I moved to the Midtown area of Tulsa at the end of August and are enjoying exploring neighborhoods that remind us of the fun areas of Austin. There's more similarities than we even thought there would be and we feel at home. There's a great music scene with many small venues that we've found but we miss our North Loop House Concert series. We thank NLNA for promoting our house concerts and appreciate the neighbors we met who came to our series and became friends. Please keep up the good work and we look forward to trips to Austin to see all the changes that are happening in the neighborhood.

Since I last wrote, things have gotten even tougher for many local families. Because of the government shutdown, food stamp (SNAP) benefits have been paused as of November 1, and the Central Texas Food Bank expects demand to spike in the coming weeks.
