Good evening neighbors

TONIGHT is our regular NORTH LOOP NPCT meeting to be held at 7pm at the COMMUNE.  Our proposed agenda is as follows (subject to change based on the availability of our guest speakers): 

6:45-7:00 - Social Time

7:00-7:15 NLNPCT Business 

• Election of New Officers: Katharina Michalak (Chair) and Steve Wise (Vice Chair).
• Call for volunteer to serve as Secretary

7:15-7:30 - Project Updates

7:30-7:45 - New Project Presentation: Legacy on 55th with Danielle Walker

• Danielle will present a new housing project on 55th Street right along the west side of the Red Line Tracks. This new development will include both low income and market rate housing for purchase.  

7:45-8:00 - Zoning Discussion with Peter Joureay-Kaler

• Peter will be talking with us about a project in the North University neighborhood that has run into some issues and discuss his neighborhood's struggles with the city and the developer.

8:00-8:30 - In Memoriam - Kris Schludermann

• Kris was dedicated to the work of the NLNPCT for decades and one of the original drafters of our Neighborhood Plan.  Kris loved this city and our neighborhood and dedicated a great deal of his life to both.  His passing is a loss for our community and he will be sorely missed. Please come and share your memories of Kris and help us honor his life.
