Hi all - 

We are in need of two alternates for the Development Review Board.  The board reviews most of the more complex development projects that are proposed in the city.  It meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at 7:00.  Alternates are often called when regular members can't be there and/or when regular members have a conflict of interest (like when they are abutters to a project or have a law partner who represents the applicant) and need to recuse themselves.

Right now we have a proposal in front of the DRB involving Vermont College where two members have recused themselves, which leaves us with less than a full board making the decision.  So it's important that we get these seats filled.  It has been advertised for awhile, with no applicants.  Please feel free to forward this to anyone you know who might be willing to do it.

If you're willing to step up and serve, please get your application in to the City Manager's office by Friday this week so it can be on next week's City Council agenda.  You can send a letter of interest and your resume it to spit...@montpelier-vt.org with a copy to me.
