Subject: [Meadow] Spice on Snow Food and Music Festival this weekend! Volunteer?

Hello Neighbors!

My friend Katie Trauz and I make a yearly pilgrimage to the heart of Cajun country in Louisiana each year for a food and Music festival called Black Pot.  We have made a lot of friends through the years, and are bringing some of our favorite musicians and chefs up to Montpelier the 9th, 10th 11th and 12th for cooking and music and dance workshops and concerts!

The Revelers (you may recognize them as regulars on the HBO show Treme) kick it off Friday at City Hall with a concert and dance. We are also excited to be bringing up Chef Toby Rodriguez, who has been featured on Anthony Bourdains No Reservations and Top Chef to do Cajun Butchering and cooking workshops at NECI.  Fiddler great Bruce Molsky will also be here to perform.  Check out the whole schedule and buy your passes and tickets here: http://www.summit-school.org/winterfest

Additionally, we are looking for a volunteer that is able to pick up an artist at Burlington airport Tuesday the 7th at 9:30PM.  Let me know if you can help, and I will get you set up with a ticket to an event of your choice!

Hope to see you there.  It is truly a privilege to  have all this talent in Montpelier!
