NRTL Idea Bouncing

I'd like to keep this thread open as a place to bounce ideas. What
you'd like to see this org. doing more of, how we can be more
effective, areas of Pro-Life interest you think we should be looking
at.

One caveat, remember our mission statement. We are in the business of
saving unborn babies. We as an organization don't do Habitat for
Humanity, we don't volunteer at soup kitchens, we don't adopt orphaned
puppies and we don't clean up polluted parks... etc. Those are good
and worthy causes for other philanthropic organizations. Northern
Right to Life saves babies and helps mothers. We have to stay focused
or we'll dilute our message.

With that in mind...Let the good ideas roll!

I'll start - Over the summer, I'd like to do some sidewalk counseling
and training. Any comments or ideas?

Well, I have a couple if ideas. I'll work on implementing them as
soon as possible, while they may not be 'activities' for the group,
they are things that we can use to reach out to more people of similar
interest.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of facebook or myspace, I think that
keeping a group central leads to a great ability to communicate and
keep control over what messages go where. This will also give us more
groups to keep track of. I do see the purpose of them though, so I'll
go ahead and on the main page make links to our facebook group and our
myspace group. This will allow for people to use the different
networking sites to join NRTL.
