Hello!
My name is Crista Leigh and I'm the Promotions Manager at Northern Lights in Clifton Park. That's right, I'm the new (-ish) kid on the block—been here since September and loving every minute of it! Just wanted to introduce myself and let you know about an exciting event I'm planning!
On Saturday, May 17, 2008, we're having a Music Industry Night here at Northern Lights. It begins at 4:00 pm and will end at around 10:00 pm (or later, depending on how much fun we're having!). I'm inviting everyone from every facet of the Capital District music scene—musicians, writers, radio jocks, students, professors, industry professionals, website moderators, bloggers, record and instrument shops—to the biggest industry party ever! It's a chance for everyone to meet each other, mingle and—of utmost importance—network. You're welcome to come set up a table (which we can provide), promote your business (small, large or in between), or just hang out!
The admission for the night is $8 in advance and $10 the day of. We'll offer a special discount rate of $5 for students and if you RSVP in advance. If you'd like to set up a table and promote, we're asking a fee of $30 per business.
So come on down! Make connections, enjoy some drink specials and have a good time. And make sure you say "hello" to me—I can't wait to meet you!
