Local hop Rhizomes

Too bad I already ordered rhizomes from Midwest. What are the details on
the seller? I noticed he's from Elk Rapids. Are these homegrown hops? Is
he a homebrewer and does he want to attend our meetings?

I'll invite him. I don't know much past what was in the add. He does
have more than 12 varieties so he must be into brewing.

Can anyone recommend a welding shop reasonably close to Bellaire?  

 

A friend of mine downstate , partially, build the frame for a brew structure I picked it up last week. There is still more steel and welding that needs to be done to complete the frame.

 

So far the frame needs cross bars to support the HLT,MLT, and kettle, expanded steel at the bottom, casters and two burners w/frames need to be welded as well.

Hmm, depends on what you call "close"!!  Ace welding (off Barlow) in TC is good.  Wheellocks west of TC off Cedar Run Road is good and they can powder coat the rig when done for an excellent finish. Not sure of any places east of TC.....
