Dear all,
Final reminder to register for NorthernBUG, which will be
held in York on Friday 1st September at the Guildhall. The
meeting is free, with opportunities to present (posters and talks) and meet other people doing bioinformatics research across the north of England. More information can be found here -
https://northernbug.github.io/northernbug10
The meeting is for everyone from students to profs, core facilities to industry - so come and talk bioinformatics for the day! We will have a training session on git, reproducibility and data management in the morning, then research talks, posters and networking in the afternoon, followed by a local pub (likely
Ye Olde Starre Inne).
There are lots of people attending who have never been to NorthenBUG before, so don't be shy. This is a user group, not a conference of solely polished work, so please feel free to present work in progress. Maybe someone in the room can help you out.
Hopefully see you in 3 weeks,
Andrew and the York NorthernBUG team
With thanks to our sponsors
