The Sheffield Bioinformatics Core is pleased to announce that a couple of workshops taking place in September and October are available for booking (fees apply).

Data Manipulation and Visualisation using R

- Monday 18 September, 1pm - 4pm - Bartolome House/ Online
- Tuesday 19 September, 9am - 12 noon - Bartolome House / Online
- Friday 22 September, 1pm - 4pm - Bartolome House / Online

This is an introduction to the popular R language and its application to manipulating and visualising data arising from Biological experiments. Please note that this workshop takes place over multiple sessions and you are expected to attend all of them.

Single-Cell RNA-seq analysis using R

- Tuesday 3 October, 9.30am - 4.30pm - Barber House Boardroom / Online

This is an introduction to the analysis of data from (mainly) 10X experiments investigating gene expression at the single-cell level. Please note: this course requires some R experience - such as the Data Manipulation and Visualisation course mentioned above.
